This is my first post for testing and to say hi. I'm an FAA designated Airworthiness Representative, or DAR for short. What does that mean? I can tell you how to get an idea into the air, with the blessing of the FAA. Or I can tell you why it'll never happen! In either case it's better to know from the start of your project, not after you've completed the work! So, I hope this will become a place of discussion related to all things aviation, and specifically for those things related to the certification of airworthiness on esoteric aircraft (the fun stuff!)
For a start, here's an extremely interesting aircraft. This had to be certified on several levels, but the result is impressive!
